What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Redzone has been so easy to learn and even easier to use. The shop floor learned how to use the system effectively in no time and really jumped on the opportunity to voice their best practices by commenting and adding photos to share and improve shift by shift communication. In the beginning, the amount of information available seemed overwhelming, but the 24/7 support and our coach coming back regularly to keep training on new things has made this implementation simple and effective! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Our product mix and our need to be flexible with changeovers causes our sensors to need to be adjusted regularly. We have lost crucial data because we missed setting up a sensor correctly. We know Redzone has the ability to use signals from our machines, we just haven't been able to make the change just yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Redzone is improving our communication across the entire company. Maintenance is more involved with the operators and more present at the lines because they attend the huddles and can respond to problems in real time. Our downtime has reduced 6% since we have started using Redzone and we have also started implementing Lean concepts after our Kaizen event. We are breaking records and are working together like more of a team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Our facility has had redzone closing in on 1 year now. We have seen the immediate uplift in OEE and overall employee engagement. During our compliance module rollout our coach Zach Thompson was with us day in and day out supporting and guiding us through this fantastic journey. It has been over 6 months since we last had Zach on site, yet whenever we need him he is a phone call or message away from us. Zach's overall support to our facility has been nothing short of extraordinary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

In the compliance module, it would be nice to have groupings so operators can find their check sheets a bit easier in the que. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Overall employee engagement and initiatives from the floor being escalated up to senior leadership, with communication and appreciation being driven back down to the team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Plant floor visibility from anywhere is what I like best about Redzone. The data collection from our manufacturing lines is enabling us to fine tune and refine our processes not to mention Redzone's Support & Training provided during Implementation. I have learned so much from Nigel, our coach, during this process. We now have data to work on continuous improvement initiatives and visibility of our production line & overall OEE at any given moment! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

I wish we had implemented Redzone sooner. I wish we had more time operationally to dive into the software. You truly do get out of it what you put in to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improving operations on the floor & eliminating waste. We can now see why our production lines are down, the downtime is coded and we can target these contributors that harm our performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Redzone offers the ability to very quickly see the status of the production floor. It also opens up communication avenues for our associates to all interact, regardless of their position. We have executives and floor associates easily communicating issues and ideas. It also provides an easy way to send encouragement as well as accountability with a few short moves in a touchscreen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Nothing specifically. I have learned more ways to use the system, if feels like every day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

It very quickly shows our downtime and why a line is down. We can get who we need involved very quickly and get the issue resolved in a much more timely manner. Also, we use it for project tracking. It offers accountability and due dates that have really kept our team on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

I have found the most helpful things about redzone are all the data that is provided to all levels of the operation. From the plant floor to director level there is clear visibility to how the plant is running. This data can also be sliced and diced to show specific metrics that are needed, and sent out automatically through daily/weekly/monthly emails. We have found that operators buy in has increased tremendously since they can track live time how they are doing, and are immediatly trying to solve any downtime.

The other thing that I like most about Redzone is the support from the team. Our implementation of Redzone was extremely smooth, and Josh our coach has been very supportive along the way. He shows everything Redzone has to offer, and helps personalize the tool to create exctly what our plant was looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

I am yet to find something that I have disliked about Redzone. There are times, like any new tool, that questions/challenges arise, but the support from our Redzone coach Josh has been tremendous and we have not had to battle these challenges for long without support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Redzone has helped us get visibility on the floor of how each run is going live time, as well as weekly trends of producvitiy across each lines. This helps us create daily actions based off what the operator are seeing and get downtime resolved live time. The other massive benefit Redzone has provided is communication around the plant between Operators, Maintanence, Supervisors, Planners, Plant manager. This has streamlined our communication, having a central spot for everything. The operator can type the thing they need, or are seeing in redzone and send it directly to who can help oslve that issue. This can also be translated between languages to remove that barrier.

Between visility of our productivity & quality metrics, and the clear communication we have been able to improve and sustain our OEE! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Personally, I love how easy the software is to manage, use, and see visually. This system has helped my current company keep track of compliance and effiency at a much higher rate than before. Everything we need to see to make decsions are available without the hassel of remebering where to find this information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

The one thing I dislike about Redzone on the admin level is not being able to specify what location each user can see. Currently, each user will have to create a filter on their account to filter out locations they do not work on or do not need to see. In the future, we plan on using production, pre-weigh, and compounding in the system so being able to filter what location each user can see on the Admin level would be very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

QAD Redzone is allowing our company to track compliance at a much faster and better rate than before. Having our operators fill out paper forms caused many GDP errors that would cause a hault in our process until it could be corrected. Now with Redzone, Quality is able to review compliacne checks in real time to ensure everything is filled out properly and accurate. Redzone has also helped with our manufacturing efficiency. Being able to see exactly what our OEE is in that moment instead of days later has allowed us to be able to make changes/decions on the spot to see what can be fixed. Also having the OEE available for future reference has been helpful to deciede what location needs more work in order to prevent downtime from occuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Coaching. There are many solutions out there for people communicating internally, or gathering data from equipment, or collaborative problem solving, but Redzone rolls them all into one with the support of Continuous Improvement experts built-in via coaching. Our coaches have been instrumental in accelerating implementation & adoption of Redzone to to see a positive ROI while cheerfully engaging our people for training and collaboration in alignment with our company values. It is very simple to use and visually engaging for our front-line while driving results for the bottom-line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

As we learn, evolve, and expand our usage there have been features & functionality "missing" from our perspective but Redzone is ever-evolving with their customers and developing more complex solutions to drive improvement. One initial hurdle was that the system is only available on iOS, which is also evolving in real-time with the recent release of a web-based admin portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workforce engagement & communication. Continuous improvement via crowd-sourced ideas from the people closest to the work and structured problem solving tools to drive resolution. Live-data from our equipment to reduce downtime and shared performance visibility to enable seamless collaboration without submitting a "help ticket". Understanding of true capacity and throughput, resulting in capital expense avoidance and reduced hiring requirements as we grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Productivity and compliance have completely transformed how I manage the floor. With productivity tools, I can communicate more effectively, track data effortlessly, and implement positive changes that truly improve production. These tools have enabled me to monitor performance in real time, identify trends, and make informed decisions that drive efficiency and quality. I can now stay engaged with every line running, even when I’m not physically present, ensuring consistent support and oversight. This has streamlined our processes and made it easier to adopt and sustain meaningful improvements on the floor.

A key part of my success has been my coach, Rob. His patience, dedication, and drive to help me reach my full potential have been invaluable. When he’s here at CMC, he’s fun to be around and inspires me to stay on top of my huddles. There’s truly no one like him. His energy is unmatched, and his accent is the best! Rob consistently provides insightful advice, encourages innovative thinking, and goes above and beyond to ensure both my growth and the success of CMC. His guidance has made a lasting impact not only on me but on how we approach productivity and continuous improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
