What do you like best about Microsoft Power BI?

1. if one has M365 which includes PowerBI pro, then integration with other M365 applicaiton like, excel in one drive, sharepoint etc becomes very easy.

2. Easy to install

3. Compare to Tableau, which cost ~$1500/- for even using the application, we can use the PowerBI tool for free and if want to publish and share the dashboard then only we pay. This is specially helpful for beginners to learn the tool without shelling out money.

4. Best suited for daily analysis of the data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?

1. if the dataset are large and complex relationships are developed, then the performance decreases.

2. Some visulization which are third party are expensive in PowerBI, quite frankly this should have been default visulization in PowerBI example : Radar Chart, Box plot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. The management gets to see the live performance of the metrics which makes the decision making easier, if we have comnnection to Azure, Datalake etc, then the refresh frequency can be increased in a day.

2. Easy to visulise the data, although DAX is slighlty complex, but if one masters it or able to take help of community forums one can accomplish in making dynamic charts which. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

4) The RAG status , escalation matrix , RACI matrix and other matrix are now implemented on our Power BI application which helps us track our project status more proactively.

5) Instead of using Sharepoint we are accessing Microsoft Power Bi to get more appealing and visually pleasing data for our contract dates and change cycle management.
