The ability to track and update inventory as it's being used. The ordering system is thought through and makes sense from an inventory point of view. It's simple but can be complex. I dislike the fact that work orders can't be undone without extreme measures being taken. If a work order is complete, it can only be reversed once and can be catastrophic to inventory. I wish it could be simple to adjust one item being produced in the work order without all the other items being affected by it. I also find some of the filtering and searching functions to be incomplete. Whenever you're searching for an item you have to type it out exactly how it's spelled. Wherefour coninues to upgrade and add options! Their support staff is great and resposive to support tickets. This program runs out entire manufacturing operation and we have had little to no problems. The company listens to the needs of their customers and prioritizes upgrades and features based on immediate customer needs. This is outstanding, and basically unheard of in the industry. During high volume posting, typically on Monday's and after holidays, there can be up to a 6 hour delay in posting of processes, like pick and ship, and invoicing. This has caused invoicing and delivery delays for our customers. To be clear this has only happened 3 times in two years. Wherefour usually opens additional server resources for this time. It would be great to see them upgrade the servers, etc, and address the issues with their customers so we know what is coming in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integration into our existing QuickBooks Desktop program so we only had to change our process for inventory and production -- not the financial side (invoicing, paying bills, etc.). The integration works.

We are relative novices in the ERP world and there were considerable areas that were not well-versed on entering into the conversion to WhereFour. Wherefour is very user friendly, and well suited to our food manufacturing business. We use this across multiple departments daily. The software works as intended - but the Customer service team works even harder. They are always available for help and never make me feel like a question is silly. Our Customer Success Specialist, Amy, is very accurately described in her job title. She is amazing. The "what-if" function for ordering. The "On hand" report. The fact that we now have a perpetual running inventory with ACCURATE costs.

Sometimes I wish that data entry functioned more like excel where you could input "=" and do simple caluclations within the cell.
I also feel like there could be improvements when it comes to dealing with allergens - currently i manage that with custom fields but it is a big enough deal in our business that i think they should make it a permnent option in the item set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our favorite aspects of Wherefour are the ease of Production planning, tracking, and inventory recording. We are a certified organic organization and having access to all of our records in one place makes our audit periods so easy. Wherefour is truly built out for traceability and it does not fail! I haven't found many downsides about using wherefour. One thing (very specific to our process) is that I wish it were easier to pull reports that tie order number to the lot number that was shipped. This is crucial to a production trace-back audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
