215 Unanet CRM by Cosential Reviews
There are so many elements of Unanet CRM that I could touch on, but the easiest way to describe our use of the tool is unifying. We have never been more in sync or more current with our opportunities, our pursuits and our strategic thinking. Everyone from Unanet to the consultants we use to support our operations, help to create efficiency and strategic value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is very little I dislike about Unanet, but if I were to call out an item or two, it would be the lack of integration on the Account Planning and Opportunity Planning elements. The tools have so much potential, but lack the integration and reporting capabilities we are longing for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing that comes to mind is perhaps improving the survey option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The potential to project based on our pipeline, the relatively easy user interface and the connections it has to Microsoft. The CRM software has come a long way since we first started to use it which is great but we are definitely behind in keeping up with the changes. I love the accessibility of the Unanet staff Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reports and dashboards are challenging to create. The class yesterday was super helpful. Not super intuitive and there are a lot of options without a lot of definition. Hard to keep standardization and the data consistent. Entry into Publisher is very manual at this point. Would love to be able to upload from PDFs now that the module seems to be more useful than it was previously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My firm went from using spreadsheets to manage our proposals and client management so any CRM would have been a hyge upgrade for us. Being in the construction we do things different than most and Unanet was the only software to come close to what we were looking for. There are a lot of options for custimization which we are utlizing to help taylor the software to our needs. The dashboards and automation features are especially helpful to stay efficinet in our CRM process but to also see the figures and trends to react quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Unanet is custimizable, there are still many things that do not work as we told they would. Proposal creation through the Publisher has quite a few limits that in the end make it more work to use in relation to just using our original templated work document. That feature has been sidelined for my firm until Unanet improves on it. We have also discovered many bugs in how you update the information within your opportunities that don't update the information properly. It took some back and forth to figure this out but it appears these issues have still not been fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Organized well with regards to sorting clients, contacts, etc. I really like the Datalake. It allows us to take our analytics to the next level. Unanet's widgets/dashboards are okay but, we can go further, faster with DataLake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI and UX not up to 2025 expectations. Good, but not great. As a result, user adoption is not quite where we would like it. Workflows are a little complex. Can't always remember how to get back to certain areas within the admin areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how all of the information for our projects, statuses, companies and contacts are kept in one area. I really appreciated our onboarding person Laura and Jackie who helped our company through the process. They helped make the integration for our company much better of an experience. They made it much better! I use the Unanet software everyday and I appeciate that I can get in and out easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the biggest concerns is it doesn't look great. The interface is one that is not interseting to look at, like a Salesforce. It needs a better interface to make users want to stay in the program. Also it literally took me at least 4 months to really learn this software, which is too much of a steep learning curve. Some features are not intuitive and it takes 3-4 clicks to do what should take 1. The exporting isn't awesome. The opportunities that only show 100 at a time! Soo many issues. I’ve been using Unanet CRM primarily to maintain a detailed history log of my company's past projects, and it has been a game-changer in terms of organization and access to critical project data. The software goes far beyond just record-keeping, offering a suite of powerful business development tools that I'm continually discovering and implementing. This expansive functionality makes it an excellent asset for any company seeking to enhance its CRM capabilities without breaking the budget. Compared to competitors, Unanet CRM offers the best value, combining robust features with affordability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only suggestion would be a refresh of the dashboard interface to give it a more modern and intuitive look. Overall, a fantastic CRM that continues to impress. I do not like the platform to get help, it requires you to login and see if there is a response, where as it would be nice for someone to call and walk you through issues. I like the ability to create and export documents in a format that works directly with InDesign. Pulling info for resumes is that much easier with this functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Coming from using Salesforce as my previous CRM, Cosential is a little less user friendly and has a bit of a harder learning curve. Once you actually know how to find things, then it gets a little easier but it definitely takes time to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How easy it is to use and customize. I appreciate how it looks and how I can make changes as I go along. I like that I don't get kicked out after 5 minutes since I use it frequently. Implementation and integration have been very easy so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far it is working how I would like it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing at this point! It has been great to use and we are happy with the features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
