111 SafetyChain Reviews

Our organization has been looking for a modern solution to data collection and SafetyChain has delivered! It's ease of use for the end user is unparalleled and has been extremely easy for our monitors to adopt. There are an incredible number of features and customizations that can be made using simple coding that make the platform very dynamic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SafetyChain is very structured and as a result has seemed to be best designed for a single facility, or small number of facilities. The management of the resources, users, SKUs etc. for a large enterprise has proven to be a challenge without significant integrations into other programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SafetyChain is helpful as an internal repository. It is great for the quality control and cooking and holds, and less great for document control. SafetyChain LINK is easy to use. I have taught my 60+ year old coworkers and they can use it with ease and independence. Sean Hayes at tech support for SafetyChain is very helpful, attentive, and quick to respond. Our customer support specialist, Val Pecak, is timely, attentive, and quick to respond. He knows the system very well. I use SafetyChain about every day. It is functional and I quite like the Supplier Compliance tab. I like the icons in the menu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SafetyChain does not have congruency among its many search boxes. Some you can hit enter, some you cannot, some auto-populate. I did not do the massive overhaul implementation from our previous ERP system to SafetyChain, however, I do work in document control and SafetyChain fails to meet basic standards. When Forms are rejected the documents disappear and the supplier must reupload all documents. The suppliers will not do this, I do it, it becomes treacherously painstaking. The ease of integration is not easy and there is no integration. I cannot even export materials to excel. None of my company's other ERP systems "talk" to SafetyChain. It is standalone. Additionally, I do not know if this has been improved upon, but I had to use multiple emails accounts for LINK, Supplier Portal, Knowledge Base. I would not call that integrative. SafetyChain does not have a document repository like TraceGains, and that is a major lack in my opinion. They also do not translate documents. Although I suppose a perk is that I now know a couple of Polish words. Furthermore, there is no indication of the supplier when an item is approved and emailed to the company. This is a wild oversight and a user should not need to log in to the system and search for the item by the number. Yes, this is easy, but it is not convenient. Safety Chain has allowed me to review data as it happens rather than waiting on a tech to turn in physical papers. This has made it easier to catch mistakes and make course corrections in the processing areas when needed very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If we have issues with our Wi-Fi in the facility, we are unable to use Safety Chain and have to fall back on the physical papers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Able to create reports very easily and get email notifications when something is non-compliant in real time to provide a corrective action. The communication with customer support is awesome, they are very responsive and always available to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike it, but I think there is a good opportunity to improve the form creation to be able to add/remove compliant values to multiple resources in a easier/faster way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SafetyChain has endless possibilities with form customization and compliance.
It is beyond easy to use , set up, and integrate into your day to day.
We have an amazing Customer Success Manager and SafetyChain team that we work with, which makes the whole experience so much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very hard to find something that I dislike about the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SafetyChain has a vast web of support for their customers, no matter the issue, problem, or complication. While implementing our system, this team spends countless hours assuring you are provided with the best record keeping software. From cooking to packing, SafetyChain provides a paperless alternative that allows you to easily complete small tasks to the most important records. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adding in a "Add all" when assigning individual recources to forms after creating them. Going in and selecting new resouces each time you create new ones can be time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used many different data management programs throughout my career in food manufacturing and by far SafetyChain offers the most customization. Many other programs only allow you to create a test, schedule it, and require a lot of time to closely review those data points. SafetyChain allows you to build your testing with precision, capture and store data that other applications may not (pictures/videos/documentation), and process that data in real time to create useful charts and reports.
SafetyChain's dynamic aproach allows them to be a useful tool for almost any industry. I've been fortunate enought to attend the SafetyChain Customer Summits and have seen just how capable SafetyChain is at helping all companies large and small better utilize their data. Not to mention their amazing customer service, excellent training resources, and ease of use. I use SafetyChain every single day and I know that if I run into any issues, SafetyChain will be there to help me immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SafetyChain's endless potential is its greatest strength, but with so many abilities the learning curve can be quite steep. It can take a good amount of time to learn all of the things that SafetyChain has to offer, but fortunately they are aware of that and provide customers with many avenues to learn (Knowledge Base/ Customer Webinars/ One-on-One Coaching/Training Environment). Customer support at Safety Chain is excellent. They have clear agendas at meetings and send notes after the meeting with links to learn more about the subject. After the training, Safety Chain continues offering support and answering any questions. The Safety Chain app is simple and easy for employees to understand. Workgroups make the user experience simple and only tasks employees need to see will show in their inbox. Dashboarding allows management to see key metrics at a glance easily. Safety Chain is migrating to a new browser(Link) that can have some bugs as they update it. It can also be confusing to navigate between Link and the old browser. Sometimes loading records and cases can be slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like its flexibility and constant evolution. I also like its reactive customer service and its willingness to resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how long the document compliance sections take to load. I rarely go in it. I wish they would have a screening AI or something that assures the vendor is adding the proper document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SafetyChain makes it easy to ensure company, customer, and regulatory compliance. It's a user friendly system that's easy to mold into what fits best for your company. The company understands compliance is not a one size fits all approach and they are always looking for ways to improve the software. The software makes data collection easy and helps eliminate all the paper-driven processes. Their customer service team is top-notch also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With any software, there's bound to be some software glitches, and these have caused issues in the plant with taking real-time data, but these are typically resolved fairly quickly by the customer service support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
