What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

What I really appreciate about Progress Telerik is how much easier it makes my daily work as a developer. Their tools—especially the UI components—are intuitive and save me a ton of time when building more complex applications. I also like how smoothly everything integrates across different frameworks, which helps me stay focused on the actual development rather than dealing with compatibility issues. What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

There isn’t much I’d really call a downside with Progress Telerik, but if I had to mention something, it would be the cost—especially for freelancers or small businesses. The tools are excellent, no doubt about it, but the pricing can be a bit of a stretch if you're working with a tighter budget. Also, a few of the more advanced features can take some time to get the hang of, especially if you’re new to the ecosystem. What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

-> Completeness (Breadth and Depth or coverage) of the product. e.g. multiple Designer options like a PC-based exe and also a web-based solution.

-> No major/minor bugs

-> Integrating into the current project is simple.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

Some irritants and minor bugs e.g.

1. If I add->Delete->Re-add the web-based designer or web viewer in my project then in Program.cs the line app.UseTelerikReporting(); is added multiple times. This causes a crash. So while adding this line a check for presence of the line in Program.cs is necessary

2. If I want to add a line in my report then I have to click on "Shapes" then I get an ellipse then change the Type of Shape to a Line and then adjust the Height. This is a very long process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

I recently had the opportunity to experience Telerik's support for their Blazor components, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. As a developer, encountering issues is inevitable, but the quality and speed of support can make all the difference in maintaining productivity and project timelines.

My recent interaction began when I submitted a support ticket regarding a specific challenge I was facing with their Blazor suite. To my delight, I received a response within less than 24 hours. This rapid turnaround time is truly commendable and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service.

What was even more impressive was the quality of the response itself. The support engineer provided the exact right answer to my question, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of their product and the underlying Blazor framework. They didn't just point me in a general direction; they provided a precise, actionable solution.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

While the support experience has been outstanding, I sometimes find that certain Telerik Blazor components don't offer the exact flexibility I need for specific UI requirements, leading me to create workarounds to achieve the desired functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Having used both the WinForms and Blazor UI packages for a few years now, the great thing about that (plus all of the additional packages that I have access to) is the ease of implementation and the support/documentation (which is extensive to say the least). Pretty much everything has a mini-demo which makes it easy to utilise that particular component. Due to the subscription I'm on, the customer support for tickets is usually 24 hours - I've had to contact them a few times over the years when I was querying rather obscure issues and the team are more than happy to generate projects to try and replicate the problem or will suggest code snippets for me to try (which usually fixes the issue). What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

There have only been 1 or 2 instances where what I have been trying to achieve has not been possible (due to how a particular component has been built, but usually they will take what I am asking for into consideratioon for a future build), but apart from that I can't think of anything negative to say about what they offer. I have been a customer for 9 years and absolutely love this product. The support team is responsive and helpful with your request. They provide samples of code to explain how to implement changes or new features. they have a library of features that are easy to adapt. What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Our team used Progress Telerik UI for Blazor to develop an internal web based dashboard for tracking business analytics in client’s laundry and dry cleaning operations. I like it’s pre built UI components, which significantly reduces development time. The Data Grid with build-in sorting, filtering and packaging works seamlessly with our database, which allows us to display large amount of data efficiently. What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

We use their controls all the time in our web site. Their controls are vastly superior to the built-in controls and allow us to support using them in anything from basic to complex scenarios.
