35 Haystack Digital Business Cards Reviews
The card setup process was quite intuitive. Haystack quality of imaging met my expectations. Most of all however, has been the incredible support offered by my rep, Kelly. Truthfully - I was a little overwhelmed when searching for a business card provider and ultimately narrowed down my search to 2 providers. I contacted them both through the business development contact line. Kelley was the only rep to respond and did so almost immediately. Kelley has been there throughout my setup process, answering questions and helping me trouble-shoot the odd hiccup in my path. She has also brought other team members to the table whenever their assistance was needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Feedback & Suggestions:
1. I’m unable to edit contact information in my phone’s contact book after it’s added through the app.
2. When a contact is scanned, the only option available is to call — there’s no link to open the contact in WhatsApp.
3. When viewing a contact in the Haystack app, I can’t copy and paste any details. The only available action is “click to call,” which is limiting.
4. There’s no option to add additional fields, such as a link to a Google Form or other custom information.
5. There’s no native “Save Contact” button after scanning. Currently, the process requires opening the contact in Apple Contacts and scrolling down to manually save — this can be confusing for users. A clear “Save as New Contact” button would be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was forever finding myself with fists full of business cards and rarely had time to look a them and realised the same was happening to my own paper cards. I now have a quick accessible digital ar on my phone which people can connect ith vi a QR code and immediately start engaging in discussions with them, increasing the possibility of me getting businessfrom a room of people. So far I have not seen any down sides, it will take time for some people to move towards this more modern approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haystack Digital Business Cards have helped us save time and money. We have a great deal of field employees on termed contracts, and when we end a contract, we throw away tons of printing waste when it comes to cards. Instead of having to order the cards and wait for production and shipping, they can have a card instantly. Additionally a marketing professional who attends events frequently, I have noticed that many people don't even carry their physical cards so having a digital card is a great way to stand out/be memorable. They analytics are also very helpful as we can actually see the usage! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With all the spam going around we still have clients who think that the e-mails and texts with sharing could be spam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transitioning our team away from paper business cards has been a hugely important project over the last 12 months as we look to implement more sustainable practices and invest in technology to improve our client offering and experience. Haystack allows us to do this with ease in a practical way. It's easy to set up, easy to use and provides an excellent user experience for both the holder of the card and the recipient. We've been surprised at how frequently our users share their cards and it's important to us to see this information to make informed, data-driven decisions in the future. Customer support has always been excellent and we've always been spoken to in plain easy to understand language with no jargon or frills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We'd love to see more granular detail from the available reporting tools to help us continue to build our data and push our team to use their digital cards in the best possible way for maximum interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an admin, I found the interface simple to use. Set up initially took less than an hour as I played around with the different options and what looked great on both mobile and desktop (Outlook). I was able to set up everyone's account so that the majority of the typical items on a business card (even their photo) was ready to go.
Rolling the product out to users was also simple: download the app, login with their work email, and add a few optional customizations (i.e. change their picture, optional completion of a few extra fields). Actually using the product went well too. We launched immediately at a conference and had a lot of positive feedback from those we exchanged cards with.
We researched many other competitors in our search for the right product and company for our small non-profit. Many had too many features for our needs (and a cost to show for it). We ultimately tested 7 different products. There seems to be a Microsoft Outlook glitch that is likely due to an update but caused all of the products to have field mapping issues between the digital card and the vCard shared with others (if they chose vCard download over add to contacts). This was the only company that actually responded to us and tried to determine a solution. The team thoroughly researched options to fix something that was ultimately a Microsoft issue, not a Haystack one. They gave us several options to work around the issue and the greatest thing is that if there is an update to our card (or Microsoft) the new contact information pushes out automatically to anyone we shared our digital card with - eliminating the problem.
The company has been so wonderful to us. They have listened and responded promptly to both our questions and our feedback. I would not hesitate to work with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our users have long job titles so we would like to have the job title on a separate line from the company. We created a work-around that works for us and this is a feature that is in the deveopment pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Digital business cards have made a huge difference in how I connect with clients and prospects. They're incredibly easy to share, whether through QR codes or links, which is perfect for networking. They reflect a modern, tech-savvy approach, which really resonates with today’s clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I recently discovered that in remote areas without an internet connection, I can still share my digital business card via email. The email is queued and sent automatically once I'm back online, allowing me to share my information even when I’m not connected to the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was forced to look at the competition. With the exception of one feature Haystack is the best bang for the buck. The competition is only more suitable with that once feature because it is only available on the paid plan with Haystack.
The business card scanner is outstanding, the integration with my CRM is great, and my CRM isn't exactly mainstream. And Custmer service is outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue I ran into is the Email Signature feature isn't on the free version, so I couldn't use that for an independent sales force I am now training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haystack was serving my client, a company with several employees. I was happy that they had a course and how they followed up on the project and contacted each and everyone. I connected Haystack to my client as I am a graphic designer who runs an advertising company motif.is
I am very glad I chose them. Everything is working well. The layout of the card if cool and well set up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were small problems with the payment between countries but it's probably more the bank's fault. It was successfully resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Scanning paper cards into the system! It is easy and convenient and much better than keeping track of paper cards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Getting into the habit of using them over paper cards is probably a significant hurdle. I would also say some people are (understandably) concerned about where tech can go wrong during the process of giving information to someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
