Freshteam is the smart HR software for growing businesses. With Freshteam, you can attract, hire and onboard new hires, offboard exiting employees, manage employee information, and time off - all in one place. Freshteam helps attract and source top talent through various channels - a quickly customizable career site, integration with multiple free and premium job boards, and social media channels. Once the candidates are in, the recruiters can collaborate with the hiring managers to screen and interview them, share feedback, leave notes for each other, and finally, hire and roll out offers to the best candidates. Freshteam also enables the HR team to onboard new hires even before day one - whether it’s getting forms filled, documents signed, or handing out handbooks, Freshteam can do it in a few clicks. In addition, it also allows you to create an onboarding task list and assign it to respective people. You can gather all the necessary information and create employee profiles (which flesh out into a directory), manage access permissions to employee information and documents, etc. The HR software also takes complete care of employee time off, employee and manager self-service for employees to raise requests, manager approval workflows, time off reports for teams and the whole organization that give a quick view into upcoming leaves, absenteeism trends, and more. What do you like best about Freshworks?

As someone who used Freshworks CRM, Freshdesk for ticketing and Freshteam, I can vouch for their UX, some of the intuitive easy to use features in the CRM.

Freshteam solved for one of the easiest ATS tools to implement and utilise. The kanban board view to show which step of the process a candidate is in, was very efficient. Quickness of their customer facing teams getting things live was commendable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshworks?

Customisation in terms of workflow, access levels gets tricky for complex/matrix organizational structures.

As for the CRM, not on par with industry leaders when it comes to solution for an enterprise level company.

What do you like best about Freshteam by Freshworks?

The most helpful feature is the generation of reports. We're able to track the entire recruitment cycle of a candidate on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The entire process is just automated and once you set up the key attributes you require in your reports thats it. What do you dislike about Freshteam by Freshworks?

One downside of the tool is that there are a number of bugs which keeps on occuring showing an error. though these are not very frequent but they act as a setback for a fast paced hiring environment. There also is this occur which has been very frequent in the past few months i.e. once you draft a mail to the candidate and send it across the page shows an error 404. Though it shows an error yet the mail is sent to the candidate. At times the same mail is sent twice to the candidate. This is a major drawback in the software as the experience is not smooth enough. What do you like best about Freshteam by Freshworks?

It has a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate.

The ATS tool is useful to capture all the candidate-related information and additional fields can be added to capture more information. There is no limit on the number of jobs that can be opened and each job can be assigned to a recruiter.

The reports section has advanced analytics which is very helpful to understand the hiring process. Freshteams made it easy to track and manage candidates, in turn making it easy to review applications, schedule interviews, and collaborate with the hiring team. What do you dislike about Freshteam by Freshworks?

As soon as a job is closed or kept on hold, the applicants attached to that particular job get unassigned and will be moved to the talent pool, which is a downside because searching for the candidates who were listed for that particular job will no longer be seen in that job. What do you like best about Freshworks?

I was hoping to use it to automate my upcoming appointment reminders, as well as to send out automated follow ups. The process was much more cumbersome than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshworks?

I paid for the full year to get a discount, then as my assistant dove into the setup, it was much more cumbersome and taking a lot longer than anticipated. I switched to another vendor, Thryv, and within a week's time, we have more setup than we did in a month of Freshworks. Unfortunately due to their return policy, I'm out for an entire year's investment, but the ease I have with another vendor is worth that loss to me, and it's a valuable lesson for me to learn: not to prepay a year before I fully vetted something out.
