What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I like AEM for many reasons:

1. Custom templates: If you have a developer on your team, you can create a new corporate template to make landing page development easier.

2. You don't need to be a developer: You can work with templates or start from scratch, but it's not a problem because AEM has an easy-to-use interface without any programming knowledge.

3. Connection with other platforms: The customer journey is the most important aspect for your business, so there are many platforms that offer excellent features compatible with AEM. (Marketo, Vimeo, CRM, etc)

4.Resource Library: I love that is possible to upload different types of files (Images, videos, .PDF). There are no limits

5. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: You can work at AEM any day and time, all you need is a computer and internet access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I don't like AEM only for two reasons:

1.- Nowadays video quality matters a lot. AEM has a limit file size in video upload.

2.- They have not integrated an AI: In fact, there are many AI focused on improving processes or activities. I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider it as an assistant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

What stands out the most is how flexible AEM is. We’re able to create reusable components and templates, which makes content updates much faster and keeps our branding consistent. The built-in DAM is also a huge plus—it’s made managing digital assets across teams so much easier. And if you're already using other Adobe products, the integrations (especially with Analytics and Target) are seamless and super useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

The flip side is that AEM isn’t exactly plug-and-play. It took us a while to get everything configured the way we wanted, and we needed experienced developers to do it. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, and the cost—both for licensing and implementation—isn’t small. Also, updates and releases can be tricky without a solid DevOps process in place. What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

It is a Unified Platform that allows both developers and marketers to collaborate on the same platform.

Adobe (AEM) Scalability Flexibility is great for enterprises that manage multiple sites, languages, and brands. The multi-site manager makes scaling globally easy while maintaining brand consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

It’s one of the most expensive CMS platforms in the market. The licensing fees, along with development and maintenance costs, can be prohibitive for smaller organizations.

its Developer Dependency

While it's marketed as user-friendly for content authors, many customizations still require developer support, which can slow down marketing teams looking for agility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

The tool really make a difference in how we work. It permit us to gain time and be much more productive. We enlarge our capability, leveraging the capacity on building Champaign. In the past, we take 8 days to make an e-mail. and now we do it in just 2 days Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

The documentation, capacity on teaching the personal and make it a case of day by day is not good. Adobe must invest energy on modules to capacitate the team. A tool that nobody can operate is a useless tool. We are investing too much energy in doing something that Adobe must helped Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager provided me with extraordinary capabilities for building powerful ecommerce websites coupled with Adobe commerce platform. AEM's seamless content management allowed us to create dynamic and personalized shopping experiences for our diverse customer base. Development efforts were reduced in half with the help of Experience fragments and Content fragments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

The cost associated with the initial implementation of AEM is quite high compared to other CMS in the market making it less optimal for the small/medium businesses to adopt. Additionally, the configuration of GraphQL queries for dynamic content delivery could get a bit complex for first time users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

AEM is excellent for content management. Our organization had been using it for the better part of three years and we had no issues, and it's a substantial upgrade from our previous CMS. It's very easy to add new images and forms to new/existing pages, which was our biggest hurdle with our old system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

There aren't many downsides with AEM. It is definitely geared toward enterprize organizations and I wouldn't recommend it unless you already have a number of other Adobe products you're working with. We haven't run into any major issues since implementing it - other than the occasional delay/error with image upload, but that's to be expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

AEM is easy to use once templates are constructed. I am not running adobe analytics, but assume it will be easier to set up tracking once we integrate adobe analytics if we do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I don’t like how hard it is to update headers and footers and build templates. I have to contact IT every time because i still forget the steps even after learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) excels in delivering personalized, omnichannel experiences. Its seamless integration with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target allows for real-time audience segmentation and behavior tracking, enhancing our ability to deliver and analyze content effectively. The platform’s robust Digital Asset Management (DAM) system streamlines asset organization and reuse, boosting our team’s efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

While AEM offers powerful features, it comes with a steep learning curve and often requires developer involvement for advanced customizations, which can slow down agile marketing initiatives. There are endless opportunities for exploring personalization which can be overwhelming given the vast amounts of documentation. Additionally, the platform’s high licensing and maintenance costs may be prohibitive for smaller teams or organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Experience Manager is a great multifunctional CMS, where you can easily manage your assets and pages in a simple way.

Every day, I spend more time creating new assets, experience fragments, pages and updating their content insead of navigating in the tool.

I couldn't believe how easy it's to reuse experience fragments across multiple pages and customize them when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I think the learning curve is the biggest challenge. When you start learning, there isn't enough information available online, but it's so easy to understand AEM that you can overcome the learning curve quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
