I recently implemented Act-On for our marketing automation needs, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. The ease of use is outstanding; the intuitive interface made it simple for our team to get up and running quickly without a steep learning curve. The implementation process was impressively fast, allowing us to start leveraging the platform's robust features in no time.

Act-On has several functionalities -- triggered emails, scheduled deployments, nurture campaigns, forms and more -- that allow marketing teams to achieve a variety of goals. I have yet to find a task that can't be achieved with Act-On, although I may need to ask their team for guidance. I enjoy being able to preview an email on mobile and desktop, test it with any email addresses I want, easily add new "from" email addresses, schedule sends, and review detailed analytics after deployment. Act-On is pretty costly, so if you're not utilizing all of its functions, it might not be worth it to invest. There could also be some more explanations/warnings in the system. For example, I once rearranged the order of our subscription lists, not knowing it would screw everything up. There was no warning or message given and it wasn't until I mentioned it to an Act-On rep that I learned how severe my action was. Also, the support team is very helpful when I have a question or issue, but I would love if they could be more proactive. We have monthly calls with them but they typically just ask if we have questions and share upcoming webinar dates. I'd rather they offer ideas for underutilized functions, provide tips to increase open/click rates and compare stats to industry benchmarks, inform new staff of all of Act-On's capabilities, etc. Lastly, I'd love if we could (1) hand-select several emails and get combined performance metrics for them and (2) add more users without additional cost.
