Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud offers a powerful all-in-one solution that combines backup, cybersecurity, and endpoint management into a single platform. What stands out the most is its ease of deployment and centralized management, which saves a lot of time and effort, especially for MSPs managing multiple clients.
Key features I appreciate include:
Reliable and fast backup & recovery
Ransomware protection with real-time alerts
Flexible backup plans with customizable schedules and retention policies
Cloud storage integration with secure data centers
Comprehensive reporting and monitoring tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is a comprehensive and powerful platform, there are a few areas where it could be improved:
Occasional performance issues, especially during large backup or recovery operations, which can be resource-intensive.
Backup failures without clear error messages, making troubleshooting time-consuming.
Limited scheduling flexibility in some backup plans (e.g., difficulty setting up multiple backup windows within a day).
Portal access delays or regional outages, such as those occasionally seen in the Mumbai region.
Interface can feel a bit complex for new users or clients unfamiliar with backup software.
Despite these challenges, the platform overall is reliable and continues to improve with regular updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the features that made us choose Acronis was its support for multiple operating systems, as well as having an MSP cloud model which allowed us to easily integrate it into our existing billing model Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not more of dislike. We would have preferred a solution that integrates natively and supports our platform's technology. Acronis does not support this at the moment but the dev. team had indicated this is in development and would be available soon Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some features can feel overwhelming at first, especially for smaller teams or those without dedicated IT staff. The initial setup also takes some time to configure properly, and pricing might be a bit high for very small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Complicated Pricing Model: The pricing structure can be confusing, especially for businesses trying to estimate costs based on the number of devices or data volumes.
Mobile App Limitations: The mobile app is only available for advanced tiers, which can be a limitation for users on lower-tier plans.
Overkill for Smaller Companies: Some features might be more than what smaller companies need, making it less cost-effective for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud's all-in-one approach seamlessly combines backup, anti-malware, and endpoint protection. It's easy to use and provides thorough security for digital assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An ongoing inconvenience with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is the recurring problem of the agent going offline. When this occurs, manual intervention becomes necessary to restart the service, disrupting the automated backup and security processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Seamless integration for on-prem, virtual, Cloud-to-Cloud backup and now MSP and RMM/security products. Relatively easy to set-up, use and administer, and support when required, is excellent - though only for MSPs we've found, as the end-users are pointed back at ourselves if they mistakenly reach out to Acronis for support. Support can sometimes take a while before you are connected with someone who can assist, rather than feeding up the chain etc.

While it offers a lot of powerful features, the user interface can feel overwhelming for those who aren't very tech-savvy. Getting the full value of the tool might require a bit of a learning curve, especially for smaller businesses without dedicated IT staff. Another potential drawback is that pricing can be on the higher side compared to other backup solutions, especially if you’re only looking for basic backup without the added cybersecurity features. In my experience, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud has been incredibly easy to use and integrates well with our existing systems. I love the anti-ransomware feature—it has given us peace of mind knowing that our data is protected. The pricing could be a bit more accessible, especially for smaller businesses. Also, the setup process was a little tricky at first, but once it was configured, everything ran smoothl Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
