What do you like best about ProPet?

One thing that I love about ProPet is that everything is in one place - we can easily access any information about the dog's past stays, payments, etc. A good number of our customers enjoy accessing their own Customer Account on ProPet to make reservations, pay a bill, update information about their dog, etc. I love that customers can upload pictures of their dog to their account and we can see them on our end, too. Another favorite thing about ProPet is how much paper we save and it really lightens up the load of work we do behind the scenes before a dog even comes to stay with us - now we can spend more time where we want to be - with the dogs! What do you dislike about ProPet?

Overall, ProPet has been a wonderful addition to our business. I do wish more of our customers were open to using their Customer Accounts but really they do not have to if they do not want to. We can still do everything we need to do without them accessing their's. We have also had a few customers who have been having trouble accessing their accounts. I don't know if they just keep forgetting their passwords or what the problem is. I also wish we could have 2 customers be able to access one ProPet account with their own emails/passwords - we have had spouses try to have two different accounts and then we can't connect them so they can both see what's going on. Recommendations to others considering ProPet:

Take the time to set up your ProPet account and make sure it is where you want it to be before actually using it within your company. When I was setting up our ProPet account, there was a lot to put together and there was a lot to figure out about how we wanted to do things - I really did enjoy making our ProPet website our's. However, I did feel rushed because people wanted to start using it right away. Even after I trained everyone how to use ProPet, we hit a few snags and that changed some stuff but really that is to be expected. Another thing I would recommend is give your customers a fair warning that you are making this change. Tell them when they come into the office, email them, and/or put it on your Facebook page or other social media sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ProPet solving and how is that benefiting you?

Everything is in one place now and we have less jobs to do. When a customer used to make a reservation, it would take us about 15 minutes to get everything we had to do to get ready for them to come done but now with ProPet, it takes about 5 minutes. We used to hand write paper invoices with all of the customer's information on it and then we would have to write out a food/medication sheet, etc. Now we just click a few things on ProPet and we are done with that part in less than a minute.
