Lots of courses, the courses are up to date, lots of practice, all info is in text, it's much easier and faster to read new material than to watch a video with it. Very expensive, I would not even try it if my company had not bought some period for me, and even for the company, it's very expensive so I can not use it often. The infrastructure of VMs to attack is vast, sometimes spanning multiple VMs to simulate an enterprise network. The victim VMs typically , perhaps about 70% of the time, are pre-loaded with some tools for hacking to save time. There are some occasions where it focuses too much on the tools for hacking without delving into lots of detail on what vulnerabilities those tools are exploiting. The challenges provided are for all skill levels. As a beginner I was able to jump in with limited experience and could solve some of the very easy/easy challenges. The Job role learning paths are an excellent source of knowledge as well. I took part in the SOC Analyst job role path as my goal is to become a SOC Analyst. This learning path provideded a wealth of information along with interesting challenges to keep you engaged along the way. When I got stuck on some of the challenges, I was able to reach out to the support staff. The response time was quick and the information they provided would help point me in the right direction. The fact that all the academy modules are very well detailed, plenty of information and hands on labs. For the labs part, the season are amazing, being able to solve and compete with people live online is just some good fun.

The Modules in hack the box are so easy to understand. The Different predefined Academy Path are so rightly implemented and has many key features. I use HTB for almost 2 years and every day.
