What do you dislike about FreshBooks?

While it covers the basics well, FreshBooks lacks depth in accounting reports and isn't ideal for inventory-heavy businesses. What do you dislike about FreshBooks?

Petty Cash as a concept. The onboarding. The channel partnerships team that DIDNT suggest Kate Josephine Johnson (she is the only reason I've been able to use this succsesfully), that there was not a better onboarding/implementation support process.

That if you take a pciture of a receipt when you have it it will always create a duplicate expense that you have to copy/paste/move later. The matching for Quickbooks is far superior. I've started losing receipts or having dupes. Neither is good. Also the email address for submitting receipts is clunky/bad.

That Clients/Vendors aren't the same thing. That Bills don't integrate.

That there's no way to carry a balance that rolls over on invoices.

The app is a fraction of the functionality of quickbooks' app.

Your prices are almost the same as quickbooks but the application is not really as good. I like the time tracking much better though so I'm sticking with you for a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recently started using FreshBooks, and so far it's been a smooth and convenient experience. It’s especially helpful for tracking invoices and managing credit card payments. What do you dislike about FreshBooks?

My biggest gripe is that when I create an estimate for say $ 100,000 and want my initial invoice to be 10% of the estimate the program calls it a deposit then requires that I set up a pay schedule which I always have to go in later to edit. So Progress Billing isn't as functional as it could be. In addition to that, it doesnt change the invoice number so I add letters to that invoice number as I progress bill. What do you like best about FreshBooks?

for someone like me, new to tracking expenses, invoicing and Profittrac and Loss this quickly became the best product for my business. My customer service Rep held my hand every step of the way tro make sure I knew how to post, categories to place expenses, invoicing and so much more. I am grateful for all the help. What do you like best about FreshBooks?

I love that this product is easy to set up and use. I have a need to track time to the minute, and this makes it simple. I need to see my reports by time, and be able to separate projects within clients by time. This also allows for easy invoicing and ease of keeping track of those invoices. I don't need every function under. the sun. What it does, it does well for me at a reasonable price. I've had one minor issue to connect with customer support, and they were super responsive.
