I love that Entrata is easy to learn, and that the team is very responsive if there is ever an issue. I love that all of my resident information is readily available along with property reports. I use entrata every day, its 90% of my job! So I would consider myself an entrata savant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a little glitch in the search bar function to where entrata wont populate some leads or residents. For instance, if I want to look up "Emily Imboden" and I type "Emily I" entrata shows "no results." I have to either type in the full name or scroll through the numerous Emily's to find the one i'm looking for. Same with resident unit numbers; some unit numbers wont populate when you search for them, like unit 16. I would also love to see a function in the activity log where we can highlight important calls. When we pin a note it highlights the entry in orange. I love that! But I wish we could highlight or pin phone calls and texts too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Entrata has an intuitive workflow for everything and a built-tool for each aspect of multifamily property management. There is no need to go outside of the Entrata ecosystem if you want all parts of your operations in one place. With other management systems, integrations or supplementations are necessary to have well-rounded functionality. I love that Entrata is my one-stop for everything. As a company trainer, the instant customer support is what sets it apart from everyone else. You can call and get live person in seconds in you can't quickly find what you need in the training library with videos, articles, and other media. The best feature I like is the referral function. It allows you to track and make use of all lead referrals, not just locator referrals. It's an amazing tool that really lets you track and see the fruits of your outreach marketing efforts. You can run reports and e-blast the referral database just like regular leads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have yet to find a feature I am completely dissatisfied with in Entrata, but there are areas of improvement. On the affordable component, I think it would be great to be able to input more data attached to residents profiles that are HCV recipients. We should be able to see their case manager, PHA, and other snapshot information on their profiles. There should also be a way to mark HCV residents in reports. When you have market properties that accept limited vouchers, it is hard to not lose track of them. Currently, we add asterisks to the resident's names, but that is workaround and negatively affects lease generation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Entrata is easy to use as a Service Manager. I can easily create reports, submit work orders, and manage them from the palm of my hand in the app. The implementation was a little rocky at first, but overall things have now gotten easier since we made the change. I use the app continually throughout the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like is that I have to ask for a lot of permissions. Furthermore, I would like my technicians to stop closing work orders, and report them directly to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Entrata is an exceptional software solution for facilities maintenance teams, offering a comprehensive suite of features that enhance organization, streamline work order management, and improve communication across all levels. As a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician, I find its ability to track budgets, materials, and labor hours essential for maintaining cost control and operational efficiency. The platform allows for the creation of detailed work orders, where tools and materials used can be logged, providing a transparent view of resource consumption and time spent on each project. Real-time updates and notifications ensure that both technicians and management are always aligned on the status of work orders, while the mobile app enables field teams to update progress directly from job sites. Additionally, Entrata’s reporting capabilities offer insightful analytics on project costs, performance metrics, and overall efficiency, which are invaluable for both day-to-day operations and long-term planning. Ultimately, Entrata improves workflow efficiency, boosts communication, and helps facilities teams stay on top of both budget and project status with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, I really like this software that much to say wrong where I would improve a little is maybe adding in some resources for training and inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease and convenience of the system is amazing; especially navigating through the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Entrata is helpful because it offers an all-in-one platform for property management, combining leasing, accounting, maintenance, and communication tools. It automates tasks like rent collection and maintenance requests, integrates payments, and provides powerful reporting and analytics for better decision-making. From a property management office perspective, some challenges with Entrata include the initial learning curve for staff, occasional delays in customer support, and the cost, which might be a concern for smaller properties. Some users also mention that certain customization options are limited, and there can be occasional performance hiccups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love best about Entrata is the easy use of generating new leads and being able to keep up with new prospects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do think Entrata can improve the transition integrating new leads from different platforms such as the property website or any other ILS portals. Customer Support should be a bit more accessible as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Entrata is it's very user friendly and easy to use. The ability to create recurring invoice templates and use filters can definitely streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It sounds like the double approval process for invoices in Entrata is causing some frustration. While multiple approvals can help ensure accuracy and prevent errors, it can also slow things down. If this is a significant issue, it might be worth discussing with your team or Entrata's support to explore if there are any ways to streamline the process or adjust the workflow to better meet your needs. I've worked with all of the top property management software programs and Entrata is by far the best available. It is very intuitive, even a brand new employee can figure out the basics in no time at all. Additionally, it allows for saving of documents (allowing a paperless office) and seamlessly migrates with other property software such as package check-out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features are not available to all users (reports, functions). This may, however, be company dictated as opposed to platform specific. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of use and that it is basically a one stop shop. You don't have to use a bunch of different softwares to accomplish the same goal. I use Entrata every day also and I barely ever run into any issues or glitches. It is just a very good program for property management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't actually see a downside. I enjoy using the software. It is my favorite, by far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
