30 Datto Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Reviews
The price, and Datto RMM. The rest is half baked at best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were sold on Datto EDR and Datto AV being well integrated together and with Datto RMM. What we found, after paying several hundred dollars for a useless onboarding meeting that came 2 weeks after we signed up, was a giant mess. To call Datto RMM and Datto EDR/AV integrated is a stretch at best. Even within the EDR platform, the AV was BARELY functional. It's getting better, but we were sold on the product as if it was ready. Instead we found that it was in Alpha. Basic processes didn't work, there wasn't even an AV exclusions list when we were onboarded. EVERY SINGLE TIME I sign into Datto EDR I wish we hadn't signed that contract. It's made me question whether I want to use any Kaseya products at all once our contract is up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ecurity is paramount for us, and Kaseya 365 Endpoint delivers. The unified security approach, combining next-gen antivirus, EDR, and MDR, gives us peace of mind knowing our endpoints are well-protected. The ransomware detection and quarantine feature is particularly impressive, and the ability to manage third-party patching is a huge plus. We've seen a noticeable improvement in our security posture since implementing Kaseya 365 Endpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Kaseya 365 Endpoint offers a robust suite of features, I've noticed a slightly steeper learning curve than expected. The sheer breadth of capabilities is impressive, but it can be a bit overwhelming at first. Perhaps more in-depth, guided tutorials or a more streamlined onboarding process could help users quickly grasp the full potential of the platform. Once mastered, however, the benefits are undeniable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All in one endpoint security solution. Bundled together with integration between the suite makes management easier. Deployment and Installation is easy via Datto RMM components and integration. Cost is low considering the array of products in the suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have direct integration with Datto EDR and AV into Datto RMM, but I feel there could be better integration with RocketCyber and Datto Endpoint Backup.
There are little to no widgets available for Datto Endpoint Backup which means techs need to sift through emails or the Datto Partner Portal to check backup success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing is all the products for one low price. It helps us compete against our competitors by having a more complete stack, and with the low price, it helps us be competitive on price as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing so far, everything is great and we have no issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kaseya 365 Endpoint is a solid choice for IT management, offering great ease of use with a centralized dashboard that simplifies endpoint monitoring, patch management, and automation. The platform provides good value for money, especially for MSPs and IT teams looking for a comprehensive, all-in-one solution. While some advanced features may require fine-tuning, the overall functionality, scalability, and integration with other Kaseya tools make it a reliable option for managing endpoints efficiently. still a bit more integration to with datto rmm for some of the modules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It just works when installed. Keeps a majority of issues from creeping in. We have it on all the devices. It is part of the software stack that gets deployed. Never had a problem with the deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much in the way of what it is doing or making adjustments. Even if it doesn't have a window client side, having one on the admin side to make individual or sitewide adjustments would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the fact it is one stop for MDR, EDR, Endpoint Backup and an RMM agent. It makes it so much easier to say to client you are getting this when its bundled pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the onboardings were either optional or better. the products are pretty easy to put in but the onboarding fees are annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to access any and all stations on network with end point security/rmm on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Does not keep password stored for at least 3 days. Every day have to enter code to get in. But that is also one of the best security features about it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datto EDR really shines in its endpoint protection capabilities. Its real-time threat detection is impressive, catching potential issues before they become problems. The interface is quite intuitive, making it easy to monitor and manage all our endpoints efficiently. I'm particularly fond of the automated remediation features - they've significantly reduced our manual workload. Another strong point is its compatibility with our existing security tools, which enhances our overall security posture. It's a versatile solution that seems well-suited for organizations of various sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Datto EDR is robust, it does have a few challenges. The initial setup can be somewhat complex, especially for those new to the platform. Also the documentation could be more comprehensive. More detailed guides would be beneficial, particularly for new users trying to navigate the platform's full range of capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
