What do you like best about Oracle Aconex?
Aconex is one of the best EDMS software used in construction and even in Oil and Gas industries. It's easy to use even for the first-timers once they got into the system. Recently lots of system improvements implemented, which gives all the users more options to upload/supersede and do document search and to the other modules. You can also create or customize a template or even use the editable pdf form, even pre-assigned mail and document types. Project fields requirements can add easily into your configuration. Aconex, gives you detailed of information based in your document search criteria, workflow module is very convenient for document review and approval process. What do you dislike about Oracle Aconex?
When we raised a request for any additional field or document types required, Aconex takes time to act, and even it's already justifiable and will be used for a big project like ours.
Unresponsive instance for an extended period of time will have an impact on our project.
Insight Report should be updated, and this should have an option to get all the requirements needed in our reporting, especially in the workflow module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Aconex?
Aconex has the best recovery mechanism in case of any damage or change in the database due to any reason. A notification is sent to all the stack holders in case of any new document upload. It is easy to get the latest version file with one click, and we can send a direct link of the file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Oracle Aconex?
There is no such things to dislike about Oracle Aconex.

I am a user of Aconex for about 5 years. This Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) is a very powerful means of electronic document management that a certain company needs to purchase. Fast search anytime, anywhere. Access through passwords. Controlled within the software, based on input from authorized users. A documented quality management system. What do you dislike about Oracle Aconex?
I don't see anything to dislike Aconex. The price of this product is so expensive. This is the only thing I dislike about the product. Training is expensive. Requires technical knowledge of SW, HW, and network systems. Save on space but high on IT infra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
