I haven't seen any dislike but little concern on the system to view the product information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can have ALL product related information in one place. As we're operating with approx 30 locales it's crucial for me to have ease of use, navigation, quality score, automations, workflows in one place. To keep an eye on data relevancy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First settings are challanging, but it's more a downside of our current product information structure, than Akeneo.
On the other hand I'm missing Drupal connector for easy intergration with our website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rule Engine and Shared Catalogs are limited in its use. For both features would like to have more options to make a more complex setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Akeneo is extremely user friendly and the way attributes and attribute groups are structured helps us to separate the work into the required streams, ensuring that the right people are focusing on the aspects of the product that need to be updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None at this stage, we are running 1 version behind, but are satisfied with the functionality at large. My only suggestion would be to consider having Akeneo trigger updates (as a push) rather than the current "pull" design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Akeneo has a great, logical framework that has enough flexibility combined with data governance that works great for our business as a retailer. It's helped us drive efficiency in data management processes. Highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like all systems, it has its quirks. I would like to see their image/asset linking process improved, and increase filter options on asset families. I'd also like to be able to include more attributes with association types or associated SKUs/models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Even Product Management can be a complex thing, Akeneo succeeds in have it administered in a user friendly way. Even if you need to make changes to design afterwards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The total cost of running in the cloud was a bit disappointing as one might think, once setup is finished, the repeating yearly cost will be stable. It's difficult to explain to Management the yearly cost goes up again after a few years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful tool is the import profiles, it speeds up input from other sources and removes manual work.
Akeneo also has 24/7 support available, so requesting for help to trouble shoot issues can be resolved quickly.
Our subscription is on the Serenity versions so I see the updates on our PIM immediately and most of the upgrades have been helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The PIM is very inflexible for the way our company wanted to use it. The UI is very rigid and
permanent elements takes most of the screen space when editing products. Certain fields have inflexible UI that is also very hard to manipulate.
We are not able to fully utilize and understand the capabilities of the PIM such as entities, product variants, association as set up takes too much time and work and our SI was not much of assistance.
API connections are also limited and would require additional external coding in order to cater to the e-commerce platform that we are requiring.
There are also frequent bugs that occur like automatically rearranging the media under assets collection, and other unauthorized changes to the product under user "System - Removed User". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
